Efficient Golf course and Resort Development

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO THE AVERAGE VIETNAMESE MAN OR WOMAN??

At our Keng Golf seminar in may 2016, we heard quite a bit about the efficient ways to design and build a golf course, new technologies, correct procedures with grasses, water, etc and when all of this happens together, we can develop modern, efficicent golf courses and resorts which are available for many more people to play golf, sports or just stay because they become affordable to many more people.

The quality does not alter. It remains high quality, just done a better way through the use of our combined knowledge and experiences which will benefit many people across Viet Nam.

Firstly, the basic costs to design and build the golf course and its associated vertical architecture need to be understood and managed well. We heard from Mr Paul Reeves and Mr Rich Arnett about how to DESIGN AND BUILT EFFICIENTLY.

When the actual costs to develop the golf facility are controlled efficiently, the ongoing costs to maintain the facility can be far less than the signature model, for example. That is proven many times over already.

Statistics show that the average cost to develop a golf course in Viet Nam since 2004 has been usd 6.9 million (CBRE research data). That is just the golf course. This doesn’t include club house, maintenance area, parking areas or other costs other than the actual golf course. Some courses cost much more. This research data is scary!!

The ever-growing middle class in Viet Nam wants to play golf, but many still cannot afford to join a membership or pay the high playing fees of the golf courses built so far.

We need a new model to attract players, buyers and members.

Keng Golf Group has a plan to develop golf & sports resorts across Viet Nam where our aim is to attract business to the local area, offer employment and training to local people, teach kids to play golf, tennis, swimming, etc FREE!! under 7 years of age.

We have identified provinces where we believe a golf & sports resort will succeed and we expect to build up to 10 or 12 over the coming years.

Our golf courses will be designed by our partner Pacific Coast Design (already winning awards in Viet Nam and SE Asia) and built by Richard Arnett (more than 30 years building golf courses around the world for the best designers and now lives here in Viet Nam)  and using the best grasses for each location and the best products and services available.

We will have high quality golf & sports resorts in many country areas at accessible pricing.
